Eruption is a small, locally owned micro brewery in the heart of Lyttelton. Our authentic handcrafted beers are only produced on-site using the best local ingredients.

Our home on London Street was once the BNZ Bank, destroyed in the 2011 earthquakes. We rescued the building with an award winning architectural design to create a unique venue combining a working brewery, bar, restaurant and rooftop deck over three floors.

All Eruption ales are brewed with malts from Canterbury, together with the world's best hops from Nelson and Motueka. 100% brewed in Lyttelton.

We produce a signature range of beer styles together with seasonal and experimental brews that are made in limited edition quantities.
