Eruption was proud to host the launch night for the Lyttelton Harbour Kitchens Cookbook, a vital fundraiser for Lyttelton Primary School and Kindy. The launch event on 8th November, with MC Shay Horay, brought together all the people from the community who had given their time and expertise to create the book, from photographers to writers, graphic designers to local people with food stories to share.
The original Harbour Kitchens cookbook was first conceived and published in 2009 and was a very successful fundraiser for Lyttelton Education Charitable Trust . The 2021 edition dubbed 'Another Helping' is a stunning update with seasonal recipes and beautiful photography that perfectly reflects Lyttelton, its diverse, creative community and love of food.
The cookbook is available to purchase for $40 from the bar at Eruption. Also available to buy online from the Harbour Kitchens website, nationwide delivery available. All proceeds of the book go to Lyttelton Education Charitable Trust to support education opportunities for the children and youth of Lyttelton and the northern bays.
