Its fresh hop season again and a short trip through the tunnel to Morgan's Valley in Heathcote was as far as we needed to go to get our hands on some ultra-fresh ones. These Cascade hops are thriving in the micro-climate of the valley and we were lucky to get them freshly picked and safely stored in our chiller before the lockdown.
We have now combined these local heroes into a rich malt forward Red IPA, melding Canterbury red malts together with the crisp, dry fresh hop flavours, 6% ABV.
